Generally an 8 Week Programme with Classes at the following times:
Tuesday – 4:15-5:30pm – Ages 9+ – For children who are capable of riding 10-15kms (R750 for the term)
Wednesday – 4:00pm – Elite team – Selected individuals only
Thursday – 2:30pm – Ages 3-5 – Novice – Learning to ride without fairy wheels (Priced per session)
Thursday – 3:15pm – Ages 4-8 – A safe, comfortable class learning the fundamental roots to riding and although this is aimed at Beginners who can ride around 5kms, it suits the quieter children too
Thursday – 4:30pm – Ages 7-10 – Aimed at children with intermediate riding skills who are capable of riding between 5-10kms.
Week 1: Assessment
The kiddies will have an individual assessment with a variety of exercises to get a general skills and fitness level overview.
Week 2-7: Weekly Training
Variety of Strengthening exercises around Cycling, Skills training, Single track, Obstacle
Course & Pump track circuit training as well as bike maintenance and preparing for an event.
Week 8: Assessment
The kiddies will have a fun follow up assessment with the same variety of exercises to obtain an improvement overview of their cycling skills and fitness level.
What to bring: Kids to bring own bikes which must please be serviced and in good working order. Please bring helmets and closed shoes for cycling + Water Bottles.
Please note that kids must wear helmets at all times, even when just riding around the park – accidents can happen anywhere.
